After nearly two years of running Carl & Sloan, we have decided to close our doors to move on to our next projects in life. Our run has been successful beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you to all the artists from Portland and beyond who have entrusted their work with us. Thank you to the Portland art community at large for believing in and supporting us. And thank you to each and every one of you for showing up every single time. Until next time.
"Amie LeGette’s paintings are washy and exist in misty layers of paint that obscure abstract forms and reference the mystical qualities of the Northwest School while also introducing a dash of digital neon and Blade Runner. David Corbett’s sculpture and ink drawings continue his interest in geometric form and the three-dimensional qualities of paint."
Contemporary art blog Art Viewer has featured Tiffany Calvert's solo exhibition.
Oregon Arts Watch recommended Tiffany Calvert's exhibition for Travel Portland's Late Spring Visual Arts Guide.

Testable Predictions has been featured as a highly recommended pick in this week's edition of the Willamette Week. Many thanks to Richard Speer for his thoughts on the show. You can also read the writeup online.
Portland's Willamette Week wrote about Testable Predictions, our inaugural show.
We couldn't be more excited to announce the gallery's first exhibition, Testable Predictions, with work by Amy Bernstein, Perry Doane and Michelle Liccardo. It opens March 14, 2015, 6–10PM. The show focuses on artists who approach their work with an experimental, yet very methodical process.
Amy Bernstein's paintings are a playground of shapes, colors, and mark-making. She is an esteemed Portland painter and a writer, and was recently interviewed in Beautiful Savage.
Perry Doane is a collector of sparse images and alters their context and identifiability by turning them into paintings from screen prints. He recently had a solo exhibition at Ditch Projects.
Michelle Liccardo is a Portland artist and educator who builds sculptures by experimenting with a mixture of traditional and non-traditional materials. She has shown at the de Young Museum and ROCKSBOX CONTEMPORARY FINE ART.
We have been watching these three artists for years and we're very excited to be able work with them on this show. See you at the opening.
